Here, at the foot of the Pirin mountain,
houses look like monasteries with their tall stone walls
and small shuttered windows. The true Bulgarian spirit is
kept hidden behind fortified walls and heavy gates leading
into spacious rooms with friezes and carved-wood ceilings
and doors, hand-woven rugs and embroidered cushions, to murals,
icons and the exquisite iconostasis in the Sveta Troitsa
(Holy Trinity) church (1832-35).

sound of Bansko men's songs, the idiosyncratic sense of humour
of Banskalii (Bansko residents), the mature red wine and

Hotel “Bansko” has two wings – 4 and 3-floors respectively,
two lifts for guests, local heating system and air-conditioned
restaurant and reception area.

guests to the hotel you are granted free transportation
to the pistes when facilities are working; parking
space; safekeeping of your personal skiing equipment;
swimming pool, gym and sauna.

For the full convenience and pleasure of
your stay you may rent - depending on the season - mountain
bikes or skis (with shoes and sticks), and if you are still
a beginner, there are skiing and snowboard instructors ready
to help you; while in the hotel you can play billiards or
videogames; there is a playroom for our youngest guests.
Naturally you can also drop by the gift shop selling sportswear
and personal care items, while for the best look of your
clothes hotel “Bansko” offers you pressing and laundry services.
For a daily fee of BGN 2 you can also use the additional
safety provided by the hotel safe deposit box.
If you are not tempted by the pistes you may enjoy a trip
to the heart of Bansko or to Melnik, the Rojen Monastery,
Rila Monastery or Sofia.
